Terms and refund policy

The Hidden Problems & Lost Customers Check
A free bonus with every paid report. We read up to five public pages of your website and look for hidden content that links to unrelated sites, call, email and booking links that do not work, conflicting phone numbers, settings that block search and AI crawlers, and text machines cannot read. It is read-only: we do not log in, submit forms, make bookings or touch your server, and we do not change your site unless you buy the Done-For-You Fix. It is not a security audit, and "no issue observed" means none on the pages we read that day, not that your site is secure. Suspected hidden content is reviewed by a person before we tell you about it. One free recheck within 30 days of your report, on request. The visibility guarantee does not extend to this check.
What we do not promise
Nobody can guarantee what an AI assistant will say, and we do not. We research what AI assistants say today, tell you honestly whether you are in the answer, and make the specific changes most likely to move it. Results depend on your competitors, your reviews, and things outside anyone's control. A report is research, not a ranking, and the free scan is one question on one engine, not a full picture.
Our guarantee (Done-For-You Fix and Stay Cited)
If your re-scan, 30 days after the changes go live, shows no improvement compared with your baseline report, we keep working at no extra charge until a re-scan does, or, if you would rather stop, we refund you in full. You choose. We show you the before-and-after transcripts either way.
What counts as improvement. The re-scan asks exactly the same saved questions as your baseline report, to the same AI model setup, the same number of times each. Improvement means the share of answers that name your business is at least 4 percentage points higher than in the baseline (about 3 more answers out of 75). AI answers vary from run to run, so a smaller change is treated as normal variation, not improvement. Runs where live search failed are left out of both numbers. If the re-scan cannot be run like for like (for example, too many runs failed), we run it again before deciding. Baselines made with our earlier one-run method (before 8 October 2026) are compared using that same one-run method.
The 30 days start when the changes are live. If we install them, that is the day we tell you they are done. If you chose files and instructions, it is the day you tell us they are installed. Changes that are never put in place cannot be measured, so the guarantee covers the changes once they are live.
Refunds
- Report not delivered. If your AI Visibility Report has not reached your inbox within 48 hours of payment, email us. We will send it that day or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.
- Report delivered but you are unhappy with it. Reply to the report email within 14 days and tell us what is wrong. If a finding is inaccurate we will correct it. If the report did not do what this page says it does, we will refund it.
- Done-For-You Fix. Before we have started work, a full refund on request. Once work has started, the 30-day guarantee above applies.
- Stay Cited. Cancel any time; reply to any of our emails and we will cancel it that day. Cancellation stops future charges. The current month is not refunded once its re-scan has run.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
What we need from you
For the Done-For-You Fix and Stay Cited, you invite us by email to:
- your website, as a user on your site builder (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify and most others have an invite option), or by introducing us to your web developer;
- your Google Business Profile, as a Manager;
- your main directory listings where you have them: Bing Places for Business, Apple Business Connect, Yelp for Business and your Facebook page.
We never ask for your passwords. If you would rather not invite us, we deliver ready-to-paste files and written instructions instead, and file public corrections on the directories that accept them (Google Maps, Apple Maps and Yelp do). Delivery times run from when we have what we need.
Fair use of the free scan
The free scan costs us real money to run. It is for business owners checking their own business, or someone helping them. We limit how many scans one connection can run, and we may refuse automated or bulk use.

The legal part
Get Cited Local is operated from Bountiful, Utah, USA (15 E 2200 S, Bountiful, UT 84010). These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Our total liability for any service is limited to the amount you paid for it. We may update these terms; the effective date at the top changes when we do, and the terms in force when you bought apply to your order.
